Providers Choice has been a proud sponsor of the CACFP since 1985. Our organization was started by Gail Birch who now serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Providers Choice has gone from operating from Gail's kitchen table to the largest Food Program sponsor in the United States.
The purpose of Providers Choice, Inc. is to administer the Child and Adult Care Food Program for private child care facilities and provide education, enrichment, and assistance to persons providing child care services.
This is done to ensure the health and well-being of children in day care, to stretch and support caregivers, and to promote child care as a profession.
